Frequently Asked Questions

What tools do I need to start?

For beginner courses, a tape measure, screwdriver set, small level, and a rubber mallet are enough. Intermediate lessons suggest a drill/driver and stud finder.

Are the courses video-based or text-based?

We focus on text-first walkthroughs with diagrams described in words, step counters, and checklists. This keeps bandwidth low and steps easy to scan.

How long do I keep access?

You keep access for at least two years from purchase. If a course is retired, we provide an exportable PDF.

Can I learn without power tools?

Yes. Many courses show manual-only alternatives. Some wall rails still require drilling—consult safety notes for anchors and wall types.

Do you provide certifications?

We provide completion records and skill summaries. We do not issue trade licenses or guarantees of employment.

Is there a refund policy?

Yes. If a course does not match its description and you have not consumed more than 30% of the lessons, request a refund within 14 days.

How are safety practices handled?

Every lesson includes room-protection and personal safety steps. For wall anchoring, we describe anchor choices by wall type with conservative load assumptions.

Can teams use these courses?

Yes. Teams can coordinate with shared checklists and printable task cards. Contact us for volume pricing.

Do you cover local building codes?

We provide general safety practices but do not provide legal or code compliance advice. Always follow local regulations and manufacturer instructions.
